Strawberry Jam Bread


Sekarang ni musim kawan-kawan meroti...saya pun tersahut juga nak meroti. Hari tu dah buat roti nasi, kali ni nak cuba pula roti yang dicampurkan jem strawberi dalam doh. Walaupun jem tersebut memberi sedikit warna soft pinky pada roti...tapi perisa strawberinya sudah cukup terasa...


Anak-anak suka...tak payah lagi nak sapu jem ke apa segala...sebab dah ada rasa strawberi. Resepi ambil dari SINI. Ikut resepi kena tabur atas  dengan kelapa kering...tapi tak buat...stok kelapa kering tak ada...so, pipe je jem kat atas...


STRAWBERRY JAM BREAD

Ingredients:
300g bread flour
5g instant yeast
45g icing sugar
2tbsp milk powder
1/2tsp salt
110ml water
70g strawberry jam
50g butter


Topping:
strawberry jam
desiccated coconut


Methods:
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a mixer and mix well at low speed.
  • Add in water and jam, beat at medium speed until it form a dough.
  • Lastly add in the butter, continue to beat until it form a smooth and elastic dough.
  • Cover the dough and let it prove for 45-60mins.
  • Divide dough into 45g each portion and rest for another 10mins.
  • Shape into long dough and arrange it on a greased tray.(saya bentukkan bebola)
  • Cover and leave it to prove for 45mins until it doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 190C.
  • Brush surface with beaten egg.(saya campurkan telur dengan sedikit susu segar)
  • Pipe strawberry jam on the surface and sprinkle with some desiccated coconut.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15mins until buns is brown.(lepas keluar oven saya glaze pula dengan sedikit butter supaya berkilat)
  • Remove bread from tin and cool it on a wire rack.

akak rasa bosan lak ari ni nieza...tu yg buat roti tu...boleh lepaskan bosan dgn menumbuk doh roti...ahaha..
